Outgoing Senior Regional Overseer, Mountain Of Fire And Miracles Ministries, South West Region 1 Abeokuta Mega Region, Pastor Olugbenga Oyewunmi handing over to the new one, Pastor Emmanuel Kelani.
A sterling attribute of a true servant of God, who has purged himself for the Master’s work is his readiness for God’s assignment anytime and anywhere following the dictates of the scripture.
The outgoing Senior Regional Overseer, Mountain Of Fire And Miracles Ministries, South West Region 1 Abeokuta Mega Region, Pastor Olugbenga Oyewunmi said this in his recent parting message to the Church.
Handing over the records of activities of the church as guides to the new Senior Regional Overseer, Pastor Emmanuel Kelani at a brief Departure Service enjoined the church to be heavenly bound by being focused at all time.
He appreciated the greatness and goodness of God couple with His blessings during the period he worked in Abeokuta Mega Region, emphasising the support he received from members when he came in January 2021 from one of the regions of Benin City, Edo State.
He cited Psalm 25:1-2 “Unto thee, O Lord, do I lift up my soul. O my God, I trust in thee: let me not be ashamed, let not my enemies triumph over me”, which is also a popular praise worship song as his watchword since he joined Mountain Of Fire And Miracles Ministries.
He concluded his short message by encouraging the congregation to be steadfast in the faith and extend the hands of fellowship to the new Senior Regional Overseer, Pastor Emmanuel Kelani and urge members to pray for him and his family for God’s guidance and protection during his stay in Abeokuta.
After the handing over, the new Senior Regional Overseer also sought the support of members while appreciating the outgoing Senior Regional Overseer for the development of the region during his period and gave kudos to all the senior pastors who had worked tirelessly to make the Mega Region what it is to day.
