Ogun State Ministry of Education, Science and Technology, has directed all Public and Private Primary and Secondary Schools as well as Government Technical Colleges in the State to resume for First Term, 2026/2027 Academic Session on Monday, September 14, 2026.
According to a Release, the directive was in line with Ogun State Academic School Calendar for the session.
The Release by the State Commissioner for Education, Science and Technology, Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, stated that schools are expected to commence academic activities immediately, enjoining parents and guardians to prepare their wards for the resumption.
In a related development, the State has also announced the release of its 2026/2027 Screening Test Examination Results, together with the official cut-off marks for admission into its Flagship Secondary Schools.
Prof. Abayomi Arigbabu, advised parents and guardians to check performance and admission status of their wards by visiting the official admissions results portal at https://diper.ogunstate.gov.ng and click on Screening Result.
The Release announcing the results indicated that Learners should log in their profiles to access their results, using the Learners Identification Number (LIN) and default password, adding that candidates who are successful in the admission process are to proceed to the portal to print their admission letters.
It noted that the Ministry remained committed to ensuring a transparent, fair and merit-based admission process, appreciating the cooperation of parents, guardians, Schools and other stakeholders towards a smooth and successful admission exercise.
