- Olukoya, G.O says its 35 years of awesome testimonies
Three serving governors in the country, senators, top politicians and other distinguished personalities from all walks of life, including traditional rulers were among innumerable well wishers of the Mountain Of Fire And Miracles Ministries Worldwide (MFM) on the occasion of its 35th year Anniversary and Convention.
The governors, Governors Babatunde Sanwo-Olu of Lagos, Dapo Abiodun of Ogun and Governor Sheriff Oborevwori of Delta felicitated with Dr. Daniel Olukoya, the General Overseer and founding father of the Church on the just concluded 35th Year Anniversary of MFM held at the Prayer City, Ibafo, along Lagos – Ibadan Expressway, the camp ground and headquarters of the church.
Speaking to a massive congregation of members and well wishers who thronged the Prayer City for the anniversary, Dr. Olukoya pointed out that connecting to the unlimited and faithful God is one of the qualities required from heaven to have outstanding and head shaking breakthroughs in life.
He advised Christians who desired to be His favorites to glue onto Him with all their might, assuring that God cannot cage, hinder, obstruct or corner his own any day or anywhere.
Dr Olukoya who spoke extensively of God’s greatness, favour, goodness and mercy of God since inception of MFM, was full of appreciation to the church’s congregation who he celebrated as making the anniversary possible.
Quoting Psalm 118:1 which says: ” O give thanks unto the Lord for he is good because his mercy endureth for ever”, he noted that it has been 35 years of silencing the silencer, 35 years of awesome head shaking testimonies, 35 years of uncommon conversion from the kingdom of darkness, 35 years of terminating the malpractices of the enemies and 35 years of putting the enemies gear into reverse.
Dr Olukoya also pointed out that the anniversary was a celebration of 35 years of uncommon answers to prayers, 35 years of mysterious divine visitations, 35 years of mysterious moves of God, 35 years of high voltage divine accelerations, 35 years of glorious transformations, 35 years of wonder working power of God, 35 years of yoke breaking power of God, and the manifestations of 35 years of the great physician at work.
The man of God testified to how God has been showcasing unbelievable miracles for 35 years in the church, speaking of 35 years of phenomenal promotions and uncommon favours, mysterious turn around, 35 years of uprooting evil plantations, 35 years of healing the sick, destroying stagnancy and disgracing the stubborn strong man.
He concluded his message by thanking God for 35 years of spreading the gospel in the area of forensic prayers and 35 years of programmes to set the captives free.
As part of activities to mark the 35th anniversary and convention, awards of outstanding performance and commitment to kingdom building were given to various groups within the church, best performing Mega Regions in human capacity building, social corporate responsibilities and individuals.
Dr Olukoya also emphasized the need for the society to adopt appreciations of outstanding academic performances noting that it has been the practice of the church to give car awards to best performing students who are members of MFM.
But because of the large numbers of first class products since 2011, this year, the 6th edition of its kind, the church gave monetary rewards to four hundred first class university products from various universities across the world who are members of the church.
