The Federal Government has announced that all account holders in Financial institutions such as Banks and Insurance companies are required to obtain complete and submit self certification forms to their respective financial institutions.
This new directive was posted on the official Twitter handle of the Federal Government @NigeriaGov.
The FG stated that all persons holding accounts in different financial institutions are required to complete & submit the form to each one of the institutions.

APC Says Edo Election Will Be Bloody
The All Progressive Congress in Edo State has raised an alarm over the alleged entrance of thugs into Benin City and the further recruitment of thugs loyal to Edo State governor, Godwin Obaseki and the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) in Delta State.
The ruling APC alleged that the recruitment occurred in Warri.
This was revealed in a statement by the chairman of the Edo APC Media Campaign Council, Mr. John Mayaki, who said the thugs gained entrance into the city and that more thugs are planning to arrive.
He disclosed, “One of my good sources in Delta called me and was telling me that our election will be ‘bloody.’

Akeredolu On US Ban Watch List
Top officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission and security operatives are among notable Nigerians slammed with a visa ban by the United States Government, SaharaRepoters has learnt.
Families of some Nigerian politicians are among those affected by the latest US sanction, which will also see to the deportation of their children and spouses already domiciled in America soon.
Governor Rotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State is on the watchlist of the US Government and could be slammed with a visa ban as well before or after the October 10 governorship poll in the state.

333 ‘Dead Civil Servants’ Discovered On Payroll
Niger State government on Thursday disclosed that it has uncovered 333 certified “dead civil servants” who have been on the payroll of the state government for the past two years.
This is as the government revealed that the sum of N207million was paid as salaries every month to fake civil servants in the state amounting to about N5billion in the past two years.

All Unused Data Must Be Rolled Over To Next Subscription — NCC
Unused data by telecom subscribers must be rolled over in subsequent subscriptions, the Nigeria Communication Commission (NCC) has said.
This was disclosed in a statement signed by the agency’s spokesperson, Ikechukwu Adinde, on Thursday.
The statement said the agency reached the conclusion at the regular bi-annual meeting with senior executives of telecommunication companies on complaints management.

Their father, Member Representing Gwagwalada, Kuje, Kwali and Abaji federal constituency (Abuja South) Hon. Dr Hassan Usman Sokodabo, on Thursday September 17, shared the invitation card, inviting friends, family and political associates to the wedding fatiha slated on 26 September 2020 in Abuja.

Super Eagles Move Up In Latest FIFA Ranking
Nigeria’s Super Eagles have moved up by two spots in FIFA’s ranking for September to place 29th after more than six months of disruption due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In the ranking placed on the world football governing body’s website on Thursday, Nigeria garnered 1493 points during the period under review without playing any match.
The movement also placed Nigeria as the third in Africa behind Senegal and Tunisia who garnered 1555 and 1506 points respectively.
