The Ogun State Environmental Sanitation Exercise for the month of September will holds today, Saturday, September 25, 2021, between 7am and 10am.
The exercise will however be carried out with no restriction of movement across the 20 Local Government Areas of the State.
In a release signed by the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Environment, Engr. Rasak Ojetola, residents were enjoined to maximise the time to clear and clean their drainage channels and premises.
They were also advised to dispose waste properly at designated points for the government accredited waste collectors to pick-up.
The release stated that anyone found dumping waste inappropriately would be prosecuted in accordance with the State Environmental laws.
