Iyabo Ojo, a popular Nollywood actress who has been at the forefront of the Baba Ijesha rape saga, demanding Justice for the victim has hailed the court verdict which sentenced her colleague to jail over sexual assault of a minor.
An Ikeja Special Offences Court has yesterday found the embattled actor, Olanrewaju James also known as Baba Ijesha guilty of sexually molesting Princess’s foster daughter.
Justice Oluwatoyin Taiwo after two hours judgement, sentenced Baba Ijesha to 16 years in jail.
In her reaction to the judgement, Iyabo Ojo, who has been at the forefront of the case demanding Justice for the victim, took to Instagram, dedicating the win to abused children.
Her post read, “To all the girl child and boy being abused, do not be afraid to speak up and speak out.
“This victory is for you. Say no to rape.”
