Aisylu Chizhevskaya Mingalim, 53, and her adopted son Daniel Chizhevsky, 22, married earlier this month having met when he was just 13 and living in an orphanage.
A mum who married her own son has revealed the moment she knew there was a spark between them.
Aisylu Chizhevskaya Mingalim, 53, and her adopted son Daniel Chizhevsky, 22, tied the knot last Friday (October 20) at a restaurant in Kazan, Tatarstan Republic, Russia.
The decision horrified child welfare experts, with the pair having first met when musician Aisylu was giving singing lessons at the orphanage where Daniel lived. He was just 13 at the time, with Aisylu raising him from the age of 14. She told local media the romance was sparked after she took the teenager home. She said: “Our relationship is perfect. We can’t live without each other. We are on the same wavelength.”
The couple married last week.
Officials have seized five adopted children – four girls and one boy – from Aisylu’s care and she plans to flee to Moscow in effort to keep them. She has complained that some have been put back into care homes while others have returned to family members.
Mingalim also has a biological son from an earlier marriage. Local media reported that she began adopting children after encountering orphans during a film project with a Tatarstan TV station. Now she plans to flee Tartarstan and wants to take her new husband and get back her adopted children to take them to Moscow “where they can live freely”.
Aisylu now plans to flee to Moscow in an effort to win back her other adopted children.
Earlier this year, another woman, Patricia Spann, married two of her biological children – and wanted to start a relationship with a third. Spann’s eldest son, who claims she attempted to seduce him, described her as “worthless”, “disgusting” and a “predator”. “I think she’s just a sick, twisted individual that has something messed up in her head,” Cody Spann told People in September 2016. The sickening love triangle was unintentionally discovered by the authorities, leading to the family being torn apart while mother and daughter were locked up behind bars.
