Fayose
Hell was let loosed this evening at the premises of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Southwest zonal congress in Osogbo, capital of Osun State.
The incident occurred around 6:45pm as suspected hoodlums advanced towards the gate of the WOCDIF Event Centre where the congress was taking place in an attempt to invade the premises.
Information gathered by THE STATEPOST confirmed that Security operative however repelled the invasion through the quick intervention of Osun Commissioner of Police, Olawale Olokode and other officers.
The intermitent shots into the air of security operatives at the venue helped to scare away the hoodlums.
Report also confirmed that Security operatives were able to whisk Fayose away in a black tinted jeep unhurt.
