The Ogun State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare Board (OGMPWB) has announced Wednesday, January 28, 2026, as the final deadline for the payment of Hajj fares and completion of registration for the 2026 pilgrimage.

In a statement signed by the Board’s Executive Secretary, Ajibola Taiwo, the total Hajj fare was fixed at Seven Million, Nine Hundred and Ninety-One Thousand, Five Hundred Naira (₦7,991,500). He emphasised that the deadline is final and will be strictly enforced.
Ajibola disclosed that registration processing for the 2026 Hajj is currently ongoing and will close on the same date of the final deadline, January 28, 2026.
He gave the breakdown of the registration processing fees as follows: Application Form, ₦20,050; Screening Form, ₦2,550; Medical Fitness Certificate, ₦2,550; and Medical Screening, ₦20,050—bringing the total registration processing fee to ₦45,200.
The Executive Secretary therefore urged all intending pilgrims to obtain, complete and submit their forms promptly to ensure timely processing.
He also advised prospective pilgrims who needed more clarifications to visit the Board’s office at Block B, Governor’s Office, Oke-Mosan, Abeokuta.
