The Honourable member representing Etsako Federal Consituency at the House of Representatives, Hon. Johnson Oghuma, says the party decides to reset it’s compass to the path of sustainable development by giving the Governorship ticket to Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu and Mallam Gani Audu because they are trusted and capable hands.
Speaking to newsmen in Agbede, Etsako West LGA, Oghuma said the APC regretted supporting Obaseki in 2016 as he turned out to be an ingrate and a betrayer, the very reason why the party resolved to replace him and correct the mistake it made before.
He said Pastor Ize-Iyamu and his running mate would win the September elections as he accused Governor Godwin Obaseki of deviating from the developmental plans of his predecessor, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole.
“The reason they (PDP) have decided to be violent, which will not help them is because they know they have lost the September 19th poll. They thought their gang up to remove Adams Oshiomhole as APC National Chairman will be their saving grace, little did they know it is their surest route out of Government house”.
Oghuma said that as a party that believe in nonviolent electoral process, the APC ” believe in mobilizing the people, which is what we are currently doing now, that is why this election will be won by my party, the APC”.
