The Ebumawe of Ago-Iwoye, Oba Abdul-Razaq Adesina Adenugba, has installed Otunba (Princess) Ronke Oduneye, as the new Iyaloja of Ago-Iwoye.
The installation ceremony took place on Friday at the Ebumawe’s palace under strict compliance with COVID-19 protocols.
Great Achiever Magazine reports that Princess Oduneye succeeds late Chief (Mrs) C.A Ogunsiji, the immediate past Iyaloja of Ago-Iwoye who died recently.
Oba Adenugba congratulated Otunba (Princess) Oduneye on her installation, and advised her to see her new position as a call to service.
The royal father charged the new Iyaloja to ensure that there is peace and unity among market men and women in all the markets in Ago-Iwoye.
Oba Adenugba also appealed to all the market men and women, as well as the entire people of Ago-Iwoye to support the new Iyaloja to have a successful tenure.
The new Iyaloja, Otunba Oduneye, while speaking with Great Achiever Magazine, assured that her tenure will bring about more commercial activities in the market and the entire town in general.
She therefore solicited the cooperation and support of all market men and women in Ago-Iwoye and beyond in order to bring about positive change in the affairs of the market.
