Ilese-Ijebu, Ogun State — Eagle 102.5 FM, Ilese-Ijebu, has emerged Number One and Most-Listened-To Radio Station in Ogun State, according to the latest figures released by the Media Planning Services (MPS).

The latest MPS listenership report places Eagle 102.5 FM at the top of the radio listenership chart in Ogun State, with the station recording more than 1.5 million daily listeners.

The latest milestone represents a significant leap for the station, which has continued to strengthen its presence across Ijebu Land, Ogun State and neighbouring parts of Lagos and Oyo states through a combination of credible journalism, quality programming, engaging conversations and carefully selected music.

Reacting to the development, the Chairman of Eagle 102.5 FM, Asiwaju Kunle Kalejaye, SAN, described the achievement as a validation of the station’s commitment to excellence and its growing relationship with listeners.

Kalejaye said the latest MPS rating would further motivate the management and staff of the station to raise the bar in broadcasting and remain committed to delivering credible and impactful content.

He expressed appreciation to the station’s listeners, advertisers, partners and members of staff for their contributions to Eagle FM’s growth, stressing that the achievement belongs to everyone who has continued to believe in the Eagle brand.

The Chairman reaffirmed the station’s commitment to maintaining high broadcasting standards and providing a platform that reflects the aspirations, concerns and interests of its audience.

Also reacting, the Head of Station, Olakunle Balogun, said the latest MPS ranking was a confirmation that the station’s deliberate investment in premium content, quality music and intelligent conversation was yielding results.

Balogun attributed the achievement to the dedication of the station’s management and staff, as well as the confidence reposed in Eagle FM by its growing audience.

He said the station would not take the latest rating for granted, noting that becoming the number one station comes with an even greater responsibility to provide credible information, meaningful entertainment and programmes that add value to society.

According to him, Eagle FM’s programming philosophy is centred on cutting through the noise and providing listeners with real substance, whether through news, current affairs, entertainment, sports, community programming or interactive shows.

Balogun further thanked the station’s listeners for making Eagle 102.5 FM their preferred radio destination and assured them that the station would continue to innovate and improve its content.

The latest MPS rating adds to Eagle 102.5 FM’s growing list of achievements since its establishment, reinforcing its position as one of the leading radio brands in Ogun State.

With over 1.5 million daily listeners, the Ilese-Ijebu-based station is now setting an even higher benchmark for itself as it continues to expand its reach and deepen its connection with audiences across Ogun State and beyond.

The station, whose tagline is “Up There With You,” broadcasts a mix of news, current affairs, politics, business, entertainment, sports, music and community-focused programmes.
