In rapid successions replica of a blitzkrieg, the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Ogun State, Honourable Olakunle Taiwo Oluomo was removed today by 18 to seven members of the House.
The putsch which saw the ouster of Hon. Oluomo was carried out while the former Speaker was said to be at a function, the swearing-in of new judges.
Hon. Adeyanju Adepoju of Yewa North Constituency, a.k.a Awoso moved the motion for his impeachment while it was seconded by Hon Ademola Adeleye, Shagamu ii constituency.
He was removed by members of the House on the allegation of gross misconduct.
