                                     Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa, Executive

Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area,

The Executive Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area,  Hon. David Oladapo Famuyiwa, has implored the people of the area to assist the Nigeria Police and other security agencies to identify black spots in their neighbourhood for the safety of all.
The council boss noted that the identification and forwarding of such notorious places to state officials would help government to nip crimes in the bud and ensure adequate protection of lives and property.
According to the Public Affairs Officer of the council area, Mr. Omotayo Mohammed, Famuyiwa gave the advice recently at the “Heal The Nation” special prayer organised by Lagos State Community Development Advisory Committee (CDAC) and held at the Agbado/Oke-Odo Local Council Development Area’s Secretariat in Lagos.
The Executive Chairman, who was represented at the prayer session by the Secretary to the Local Government (SLG), Chief Akinwunmi Odebunmi, said though safety of the people and their property remained with God, his administration had been trying its best to support Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu in making Lagos safer and secured for greater economic development.
Earlier welcoming the prayer warriors and community members in the LCDA, the Lagos State Chairman of CDAC, Alhaji Amusat Azees, who was represented the CDC Chairman of Agbado/Oke-Odo,  Comrade Ernest Kasumu said the prayers were organised throughout the state because of the security situation that is degenerating to total unrest in Nigeria.
“For this reason, we appreciate Governor Babajide Olusola Sanwo-Olu for his love for the well-being of the people of Lagos State; and for believing in our approach towards finding solution to the problem of insecurity in Nigeria”, Alhaji Azees said.
The prayer warriors were led by the Chairman of League of Imams in the LCDA, Alhaji  Raji Ajani; and the LCDA Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN), Bishop Dr. T.O.S. Owoeye.
Present at the prayer venue were the Leader of the Legislative Council, Hon. Olatunji Ogunyemi; other members of Famuyiwa-led administration, councillors, management team, community leaders, market leaders; and members of staff of the LCDA.
