A gas station has exploded in Baruwa area of Ipaja, Lagos.
The explosion, according to Director General of the Lagos State Emergency Agency (LASEMA), Dr Olufemi Oke-Osanyintolu, occurred around 6am.
According to information gathered by our correspondent, there was a gas pipe explosion in the early hours of today, 8th Oct., 2020 ,which resulted led to the fire outbreak.
We have also received word that the ikeja fire department have arrived the scene and are currently struggling to put out the fire in order to curtail the damages.
Road Safety Officials are also there already doing their best to dissolve the traffic that built up during the commotion over the outbreak.
