This year’s Agbinrekoti Festival-Imeko Day was officially flagged off today with a football Competition between Mayehun Quarters and Ahoro-Ile Orisun Quarters in Imeko.
According to the Central Planning Committee for the Agbinrekoti Festival-Imeko Day 2026, under the leadership of its Chairman, Otunba Dr. Anthony Adewale Ajibode, the football competition served as a major pre-activity programme to herald the highly anticipated festival.
The Committee has urged all sons and daughters of Imeko, football lovers, youth groups, stakeholders, and the general public to come out en-masse to witness all the programs lined up for the festival and be part of the exciting start to the Agbinrekoti Festival-Imeko Day 2026.
In a press statement e-signed by Otunba Dr. Anthony Adewale Ajibode, the Chairman, Central Planning Committee for Agbinrekoti Festival-Imeko Day 2026, the football competition kicks off by 4:00 pm prompt at AUD Playground, Imeko.
The Committee assured the general public a peaceful, exciting and memorable celebration while appreciating the continued support of the good people of Imeko towards the success of this year’s festival.
