. Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu IV
The Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Hon. Afolabi Afuape has lauded the Alake and Paramount Ruler of Egbaland, Oba Adedotun Aremu Gbadebo, Okukenu IV for the tremendous developmental stride witnessed in Egbaland, under the reign of the monarch.
The Commissioner made the laudation recently in Abeokuta while congratulating the monarch on his 78th birthday.

Hon. Afuape noted that Egbaland has evolved to a new city with recent housing developments, such as the Prince Court, and Kobape estates, coupled with befitting road infrastructure during the tenure of the benevolent monarch.
He pointed out that: “As his name implies, ‘Adedotun’- various new developments have happened since his enthronement 16 years ago.”
“I am proud of kabiyesi’s reign and rejoice with him as he celebrates his 78th year’s birthday on the throne. I prayed for his many more years on earth”, the commissioner enthused.
According to Afuape, the monarch has demonstrated sincere commitment to the throne of his forefathers with effective contributions to development of traditional institution and peaceful co-existence across his domain with respect to the rule of law.
