Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu
It was all cheers and jubilations yesterday (Wednesday), at the International Conference Centre (ICC), venue of the submission of All Progressives Congress (APC) nomination forms as the National Leader of the ruling party, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu returned his presidential forms for the party’s ticket ahead of primary elections.
Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Governor of Lagos State led the team of Tinubu’s supporters which included former Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) Babashir Lawal and Hon. James Abiodun Faleke to submit the nomination forms on his behalf.
It would be recalled that a support group –Tinubu Support Group (TSG) penultimate Friday picked the nomination forms for the May 30 APC Presidential primary.
Gov Sanwo-Olu also seized the opportunity to submit his own forms as well and information reaching us confirmed that Governor Dapo Abiodun of Ogun State has also submitted his own expression of interest forms to go for a second term yesterday.
