Work is going on at a frenetic pace around the 3 studios and transmitter site of Eagle7 Sports Radio in Abeokuta.
We have set new standards for ourselves that we are challenged excitedly to accomplish. There are only a few hours left to the finish line.
From the 7th hour of the 7th day of June 2022, Eagle 7 Sports Radio will commence commercial broadcasting to the world on the official frequency of 103.7 fm.

Eagle7 Sports Radio is embarking on an ambitious broadcast journey to a place that no other radio of the same genre has been. With careful and strategic planning, and deployment of the latest tools and innovative young persons, Eagle7 Sports Radio wants to explore the stratosphere of sports broadcasting.
The station shall commence broadcasting to the world from Tuesday morning, and will not shut down again, even for a few seconds, for, hopefully, many years to come (a tall order in this part of the world but we shall give it the best shot).
The location of the station is in Panseke, in the heart of the historic and ancient city of Abeokuta, the homestead of internationally renowned icons in different fields of human endeavour – Olusegun Obasanjo, Fela Anikulapo-Kuti, Moshood Kshimawo Abiola, Wole Soyinka, Ebenezer Obey, Ayinla Omowura, Mudashiru Lawal, Simeon Adebo, Bola Ajibola, Ernest Sonekan, Tunde Kelani, Yemisi Shyllon, to mention a handful in this tribe of extra-ordinarily gifted artists and intellectuals.
The audience, however, is global with the use of all available new technology and media platforms.
The Radio Station is predominantly dedicated to Sport. It shall, however, be afrocentric and shall cover the whole spectrum of entertainment, including the arts, culture, music, dance, film, poetry, theatre, literature, drums, etc….
“Sport has the power to change the world”, so we shall be looking at other related sectors of health, education, law, medicine, the environment, town planning, well-being, infrastructural development, business, diplomacy and so on, through the prism of Sport.
It is a great and ongoing challenge assembling the team to knit together this intricate vision. They are putting together content for the station throughout the week in a unique combination of sight and sound!
Yes, with great advancement in technology combining Radio with some Television is no longer a pipe dream but a reality.
So, people can listen to Eagle7 Sports Radio in their cars, or at home on radio sets in the Ogun, Lagos and Ogun States axis on the 103.7 fm frequency, whilst others in other parts of the world in the USA, Cuba, Zimbabwe, Trinidad and Tobago, Ghana etc can watch programes being streamed LIVE from the various indoor and outdoor studios of the station on their android phones.
The links and platforms will be broadcast and made available to all the fans and friends of Eagle7 Sports Radio.
