The news on his death was confirmed by one of his friends and colleague, Senator Ben Murray Bruce on his official Twitter page.
He confirmed that Kashamu died at the First Cardiology Consultants, in Lagos the same hospital Senator Abiola Ajimobi, the former governor of Oyo State died few months back.
He was the former Senator representing Ogun East Senatorial District.
